A month before the wedding on Simcoe weekend she decides to have their four closest friends up to her splendid family cottage on Georgian Bay - to prepare the wedding party. Naomi may like James, a leftist lawyer, but as the soloist in a Brechtian opera company loathes Richard, Kathleen, Sarah and Kim on sight.
